Happy Day 85! I can’t believe how quickly this is going now. I think it was the Day 20 area and it felt so long and so hard. Now every time I look up we’ve completed another week or two. It’s crazy.
Today’s Self Care Stats:
- Protein shake breakfast
- Nice hike with the kids and the husky
- Complete with a picnic on top of Tully Mountain
- Mini watercolor/drawing session
- Knee exercises/stretches
- Ankle excercises
- Good water intake today
- Hot savory shower (savory? like soup? that’s weird.)
- Inspiring reading
How I felt
Feeling much better about my self care today than yesterday. My mindset was better too. When hiking with the kids, it’s important for us to not have ANY expectations about how fast or how far. It’s all about the process and keeping things low key. My son is more into sports than walking for the sake of walking, but even he is warming up to it. We just make sure we take breaks and lots of shelled peanuts.
Take away point
The physical body is directly connected to the mindset. Feeling stress? Walk. I promise you’ll feel better.
